Iron Bridge was founded by Mark Elvins and Tony Bayliss, who bring together more than 35 years of combined experience across the military and private security sectors.

The company brings this experience directly to private clients, families and estates. Iron Bridge may be a new name, but the experience behind it has been built over decades.

Our clients receive independent guidance, personal accountability and security support shaped around their circumstances rather than a standard package.

Over the past two decades, Mark and Tony have built trusted professional relationships with security operatives, specialist advisers and established companies in the UK and internationally.

This network allows Iron Bridge to identify and coordinate the expertise best suited to each client and environment. Where appropriate, we deliver directly. When additional capability is required, we bring together carefully selected specialists and remain accountable for the overall solution.

Mark Elvins

Co Founder

Mark brings more than 25 years of military and private security experience. He served for 10 years with the 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment.

He then spent 18 years in high level private security, including more than 12 years in hostile and high risk regions across the Middle East and Africa. His roles ranged from personal protection operative to VIP Close Protection Team Leader, leading multinational teams supporting global leaders, major international organisations and high profile individuals.

Mark later applied that experience to the protection of ultra high net worth individuals, families and estates, delivering continuity focused security aligned with private lives and long term interests.

Tony Bayliss

Tony Bayliss

Co Founder

Tony brings 21 years of military and private security experience. He served for 11 years in the armed forces, primarily with 148 Commando, 3 Commando Brigade.

Following military service, Tony moved into private security in the UK and overseas, working predominantly within surveillance teams to gather intelligence and provide discreet support for clients.

His experience spans protective surveillance, close protection and residential security, supporting A list public figures and ultra high net worth and high net worth individuals and families.
